10/10 Exceptional! (75 reviews)
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent 7-day stay at Abasolo ClubHouse. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with exceptional kindness and attention. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure we had the best possible experience. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. We loved the thoughtful touches such as the robes, slippers, beach bag, and especially the cleanliness and freshness of the pillows, blankets, and towels. Our room also included Perrier water, purified water, coffee, and a complimentary bottle of wine. Being an adults-only hotel also adds tremendously to the peaceful atmosphere. Since the hotel is relatively small, it offers the perfect balance of privacy, tranquility, and intimacy. It truly feels like a place where you can relax and disconnect from your daily routine. They also provide beach towels, umbrellas, coolers, and even bicycles for guests to borrow—little extras that made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. My wife and I are leaving very happy and grateful for our experience. Abasolo ClubHouse not only offers excellent accommodations, but also something that is becoming increasingly rare: truly exceptional and genuine customer service. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you to the entire Abasolo ClubHouse team for making our vacation in La Paz such a special and unforgettable experience!

8.2/10 Very Good! (19 reviews)
Title: Shower in someone else's urine smell or camp at a high price My family stayed at Amina Wind Resort for 3 nights and faced severe issues daily. Management is completely dismissive, refuses accountability, and actively dodges refunds. When confronted, they claimed our complaints were a “difference in cultural perspective” and the “price you pay for paradise.” They told us to request a partial refund through Expedia, but when Expedia reached out, the resort ignored them. They have also ignored my direct emails for a week. Our "paradise" experience included: * Urine Odors: The first room smelled heavily of urine in both bathrooms. The second room had a foul, stale odor (likely mopped with dirty water due to water shutoffs) requiring constant Febreze. * Food Desert: No on-site breakfast or lunch options before 2 PM. No pre-arrival warning was given, leaving us stranded for 2 hours scrambling for a cash driver so our kids could eat. * Water Shutoffs: Cut off with zero warning Friday while handling raw meat. Cut off again Saturday at 11:30 AM, preventing us from rinsing beach sand or making lunch. * Severe Delays: Towels, air fresheners, and safe access took over an hour per request. They charge premium resort prices but hide behind being "new" and "off-grid" to excuse terrible management. Avoid this place.

9/10 Wonderful! (221 reviews)
The complex and amenities are excellent. The customer service from the front desk is exceptional. It is a big complex and you need to be transported by golf cart from place to place but it is not a problem because someone always answers at the front desk. The restaurants are delicious. We dined at Carbon and the views were spectacular. Will definitely stay here again.
