「Everything was spot on! Only problem was being able to initially find the property as I had difficulty driving and looking at google maps at the same time and not being conversant in Portuguese. Thankfully we were rescued by the owner as there was a main road closed not marked. Afterwards, things were great!」

La literie est confortable et il y a tout le nécessaire dans les salles d’eau (produits et linge). La cuisine est bien équipée mais la hotte est un peu basse. 「The house was beautiful,magical,homey and the views from the pool and pergola were absolutely breathtaking. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Especially for Paula our very talented and kind chef who came to cook for us on 2 occasions If I could give a 6 star I would as Victor the owner just couldn’t do enough for us. He was there when we needed him for restaurant recommendations, directions for the hiking path, cab bookings and kind enough to fix the coffee...

「This is an amazing house on an amazing property. The house is well appointed and spacious. The pool is enormous, and overlooks the river. We enjoyed watching the tour boats go up and down the river, and passing the goats and chickens on the road. The host has made it very comfortable. The only downside is it is an extremely twisty and steep road down to the house. But totally worth it for the serenity upon arrival.」

「We had a wonderfull time in Francisco`s and Teresa`s house. Both are very nice hosts, reserved but helpful in exploring the area around the Douro. Everything was clean as was the beautiful pool located in a beautiful orange and citrus garden.We thank them both and wish them all the best for the future.」

「We were a family of 6 with parents, grandparents and 5 year old twin girls. In the words of the twins " this is amazing". Everything was perfect and the amout of things included with our stay was beyound anything we have seen before. Geraldene met us and explained everthing to us with a grand tour of the property. She was always available if needed and is an incredable host and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxed stay with old world...
