Having stayed in many hotels in the past this is the worst experience I have had. The reception staff were most unhelpful in fact very rude, made to feel as if we were inconveniencing him

8/10 Very Good! (1,001 reviews)
Our stay was OK. Breakfast was good and was included in our package.
Car park price is about the same as other parking in the area.
Good transportation links. Tram stop is a short walk.
Heating didn’t work. There was a notice in room to say don’t adjust thermostat on radiator as it is controlled from reception.
Informed them but radiator still cold.
When we came home late our key card would not let us in front entrance.
Another couple turned up and their card didn’t work. They said there was another entrance round back. Key card worked there.
Overall ok but maybe needs a bit of updating. Shower was underpowered.

"Pretty sure I received email after the cancellation window ended to say that if we wanted to swim in the pool it would cost 10 pounds per person for an hour and needed to be prebooked. This is appalling!! Nothing about this was mentioned when I booked. Gym was included! The upside was that we paid ..."
