Hiking Glacier with our daughter
This place was the perfect hikers cabin. Great location close to both St. Mary's and Many Glacier entrances to the park which have the best hikes....just make sure you have your daily car permit reserved in advance. The cabin was wonderfully cozy to return to after a full day of hiking. The hosts were helpful and attentive. The kitchen and bathroom was fully stocked with lots of extra thoughtful items (like spices and butter should you forget to bring). Hope to be back again!

Cozy and welcoming
Had a great trip to Glacier National Park, and one of the best things about it was this space and hosts. Ken and Gena were a delight, easy to talk with and warm, welcoming people. The space itself was well set up and decorated appropriately. They had everything we needed; just needed to bring ourselves, our clothes/gear, and groceries. Thank you so much, we hope to return on future visits!

Awesome Property
Location to St. Mary and Many Glacier entrances was fantastic. Cabin is larger than pictured and the most fully stocked rental we've ever stayed in, literally had everything! The owners checked in with us right away to make sure we had everything we needed and offered great recommendations on hikes and where to eat. My ONLY complaint is the water pressure. It was difficult to get clean in the shower because the water is a trickle. I would still stay here again though.

Perfection in every way!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. The cabin is exactly as described and pictured in the listing and Ken is a wealth of knowledge about the area. However, the real reason you come here is the location and it doesn’t get much better than this spot. Close to Many Glacier, St. Mary and even Waterton if you bring your passport. Also not far from Two Medicine which is also beautiful and less crowded. My only negative is the water pressure is a little weak but not enough to keep me from re-booking next time I’m in the area.

Perfect for Glacier National Park
My wife and I had a fantastic stay. The host is extemely friendly and responsive. Upon checkin the host noticed that the coffee he provided was running low. While there was still plenty he dropped off a fresh bag for us the next day. The property is well kept and everything is modern on the inside. There is AC, but we found that the ceiling fan was more than enough. This is a great stay if you are visiting GNP. A very short drive and you are there. Keep in mind that you are about 45 minutes from a grocery store so be sure to stop on your way to the property. You have a fridge along with a stove. There is also a grill outside for your use. Would stay here again!

Excellent stay at the A-frame
We had an excellent three nights at the A-frame Hiker's Retreat. The location is peaceful and comfortable, yet Glacier is very accessible. Close proximity to Many Glacier, the start of GTSR, and a beautiful drive to Two Medicine. We had some of our best hiking while using the A-frame as a base. I can't speak positively enough about how ideal the A-frame is for people visiting Glacier. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, especially after spending several hours on the trails. All details of the space have been carefully thought out, and the hosts were very friendly, generous, and full of excellent advice. We look forward to staying at the A-frame again soon and recommend it without hesitation.
