There were some beautiful hiking trails nearby, apple picking, My mother turned 80 this week and she really enjoyed winning the contest and 2 bonus prizes. "This was a beautiful cozy place. So Lovely decorated. With little kitchenette amenities enough to fix simple breakfast/ lunch. A table to sit at. Nice clean modern bathroom. Nice entrance. Private. Close to hikes (25-30 minutes from LOJ trail head parking. It allowed me to bring my dog. It was perfect for what we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions. I’d stay again without hesitation. "

"We loved our stay at this house. The location was perfect - lakefront with shallow water at the dock, and a very quick walk to the community beach. Our kids had a great time swimming and playing in the sand. For part of our week-long stay, we had the maximum number of guests (12), and the house was cozy while allowing space for everyone and included amenities for all. There are two large dining tables, great bedroom layouts (at the max, we had 7 kids staying, and they loved the bunk beds and having their own space on the third floor), enough canoes, kayaks, and life vests for everyone to participate at the same time, and enough outdoor seating for all to enjoy a campfire together. The house is very charming with a lot of character, and includes a wrap -around porch, a fireplace, a piano, two sets of stairs from the first to second floor (which the kids loved), and Adirondack theme throughout. The house was very well-appointed, and we didn't need to bring any of our own kitchen utensils, storage wrap or containers, or cleaning supplies. The house even came with laundry detergent and dryer sheets. I communicated with the owner throughout the week, and he was super responsive (within minutes) every time."
