The self check in was great- the staff was helpful when I emailed my questions- only challenge was coming in later than check in time and having a hard time parking- the 1888 number and the other number listed on website were not working when I attempted to call- finally found the right phone number which was emailed to me. Overall for a person wanting a budget friendly inn, it was perfect for a night!

The hotel was being taken over by new owners, The TV's did not work, no cable of any kind! Pool was not open at all as well it was in a state of disrepair! Also they had issues with wi-fi and internet access! the whole time we were there coffee machine did not work well as well! Although we had a million dollar view of lake Saranac and the mountains, lots of parking and close to other amenities! Bed's were comfortable, I'm sure at some point they will work out those issues and I was told renovations were coming in the near future! but just bad for us that we did not get what we had paid for!

Wonderful staff, good communication. Keith is the best. Clean room and bathroom, beautiful lake view, long-lasting hot water. It's a quiet area this time of year, with lots of eateries nearby and a great area to enjoy nature, fishing, sailing, hiking, and camping. Cons: No internet/Wi-Fi. The pool area couldn't be used. The ice machine wasn't available for use. The front desk wasn't available on-site 24 hours but could be reached by phone. There was no shower head fixture. The bed linen set looked dingy white with stains (I shopped at a local store and bought a bed linen set with a comforter). The TV didn't work due to no cable/internet/Wi-Fi. All in all, the hotel served its purpose for my short trip. I'll give it a "strong " 7/10.

This hotel is going through a management change and new staffs. We didnt have a microwave oven in the room and the toilet flush was not functioning properly and the shower didnt have a head so the water was just gushing out. Room was nice and has great lake views just outside. Receptionist was new but did a good job helping us through the stay. Overall a nice hotel close to the lake and hopefully the new management will be able to fix the amenties.

Older rooms, very cold ceramic tile floors, bring something warm for your feet! Lakeside. Heat is run through a/c and is ver loud. No decaf coffee but a good assortment of others. No wash cloth. Linens ok. No check in or check out they just left the key in the room when it was ready.
