The cleaning crew could use a little more attention to detail. The floor was not vacuumed, there was a a dried spill on the night stand, some stains on the bedding, no extra trash can liners, and only a few coffee cups stashed away in a box in the closet. I’m probably more particular as I worked as a housekeeper. My main concern with the hotel is that we were kicked out of the hot tub because a wedding was taking place nearby. ( Not for any sort of poor behavior… merely because of our proximity to the wedding). I feel like the hotel could have found a way to appease the wedding group without giving their hotel guests the boot. For example… how about placing some dividers up between the wedding area and pool/hot tub area? Just an idea. I just don’t think it’s fair to deny the paying guests time in an amenity they’re essentially paying for. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, but I really do think the Westin needs to rethink the wedding area and how they’re treating their other guests.
