「I wanted a short getaway to beat the Austin heat since I had a full house with family staying with me. My dog came too, and I couldn’t find another home at such a great price that also allowed pets, so that was a huge plus. This home was the perfect retreat — the pool complex (with the infinity pool plus four others) was incredible, and there were BBQ grilling areas, both gas and charcoal that were really nice, along with a restaurant next door serving great food and amazing drinks. It was the perfect location for a weekend visit for a concert at Emo’s on Friday night and floating the San Marcos River on Saturday, while still very close to all the other things to see and do in Austin.
