The property is beautiful, adequate and centrally located. VACASA's property manager was unresponsive, uncaring, often failed to follow up. It was a big disappointment considering the money I was spending.
a. I was there for 3 weeks, and never got a night lamp for my bed. b. The outside light bulb stopped working, and it was never fixed. c. I requested tissue paper when I arrived, and it took over one week to receive one box.
d. I had requested to have housekeeping once per week, and that was never given any consideration.
e. I had seen a review complaining about the WIFI, and I inquired about this prior to booking and I was reassured WIFI was working with no issues. It was not, the internet connection was interrupted several times during the day. When I realized this was a real issue, I had already had several disappointing communications with VACASA that did not bother to complain, since all my other prior requests had already been ignored.
Bottom line:
This is my first experience at Vrbo, and I am completely disappointed. I got a nice place, and that was it. There was no support or desire to make my stay comfortable, much less enjoyable.
I kept thinking that a stay at a resort would have been a much better experience for us, given the money spent.
I was left feeling ignored and invalidated. Not the experience I was expecting given the money I spent. I am very upset about my decision to stay here.
