"The facility reminded me of a state park. It was a perfect setting for being in the mountains. We really enjoyed the pool and spa. All areas of the grounds were clean. The front desk workers were very helpful. "
"Cute cabin tucked away in the wilderness accommodated our family hiking trip nearby. Quiet and clean, kitchen had everything i needed to cook a 5 course meal for my family. "
Salmon River Waterfront Cabin w/ Hot Tub! Dog Friendly!
10/10 Excellent
"This is a lovely cabin! The river-front location is amazing. Very private yet easily accessible. We traveled for a ling weekend away with 6 women - easily accommodated in the 3 bedrooms. It was amazing to have 3 bathrooms! The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. It was a great kitchen to cook in! This is a cozy cabin and it stayed lovely and cool with windows open in the summer (it has AC but we didn't need it). We spent tons of time on the gorgeous front porch which has comfy chairs and a great dining table too. The seating area by the river is great and you can get down a path to the river easily. We'd recommend this place and hope to stay here again! "
Mt Hood Riverfront Cabin with Hot Tub! Dog friendly!
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. Loved being able to walk down stairs and a short path to the river. Saw a coyote, plenty of birds, and bats that came out at dusk. The only thing we wished was available, were larger coffee mugs, but the house was otherwise really well equipped with everything we could need. Enjoyed playing music, and building puzzles and playing games we found in the closet."
"We had a great time staying in this historic cabin. Check-in instructions were very clear and we had no problems. We did contact Brad about arrival time and he was very responsive. As advertised, the cabin is rustic. But the shower had lots of pressure and hot water! There were plenty of electric outlets. We loved that it was just a short walk to the pedestrian bridge over the ZigZag River to Fernies Coffee. Days were spent at The Timberline Lodge at Mt. Hood, Government Camp (Huckleberry Shakes and Charlie’s!), and Lake Trillium. One caution about the cabin, there is a lack of storage. The downstairs bedroom does have a small space to hang items, but nearly all dressers contain bedding. Easy to keep things in the suitcase and stored under the bed, though. And do take the warning of wildlife seriously. Our (adult) kids were walking down the street at night and saw a bear. He saw them and ran into the neighbor’s yard.Overall, a nice time here at Laughing Bear. "
Exclusive House On Foothill with hot tub, sauna and jacuzzi.
10/10 Excellent
"First, this property has a lot of character. Not only is it in the beautiful forest land east of Portland, but the house itself is wild! Very large, many beds and bedrooms, and every room has its own character. It can host large groups very comfortably. The hot tub works great, there's even a pool table in the lower level. The host was fantastic, and extremely kind, and well communicated. When an issue arose that was completely outside of everyone's control, they were responsive, helpful, and very understanding in their helping us! I can't thank them enough for a wonderful stay.We stayed here for our family gathering after my wedding, and it did not disappoint. Thank you hosts for such a lovely stay in your beautiful space!"
