The food, the shows, the shopping! Located in the grand building, The Guardian, our 1-bedroom apartment is nestled away from the busy street and is the perfect place to call your home-away from home whilst in Auckland.
You'll have everything needed for a comfortable stay, with an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, high ceilings and two large comfy sofa's to curl up on after a long days sightseeing.
The Space:
With Auckland's Skytower and Casino two blocks away, a new shopping mall built 200m away and the waterfront for these who seek a harbour view with lunch.
With such an array of culture in Auckland, there is no stops to what you can eat and drink during your stay.
Mission bay being only a short drive or 20min bus ride away, this is one of Auckland's busiest and Iconic urban beaches.
Guest Access:
I have recently moved the lockbox very close to the property to avoid any inconvenience for guests.
You will have full private access to the property for the duration of your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Right in the heart of the city, you are perfectly situated to experience everything Auckland has to offer!
Perfect whether you’re visiting Auckland for just a short period of time, or staying for longer. Once you have explored the city’s main attractions (like the Sky Tower), go down for a stroll on the viaduct to see why Auckland is nicknamed the ‘city of sails’. For live events check out the Aotea square (where you can often see people practicing tai chi, in contrast to the usual hustle and bustle).
A great place for shopping is Queen Street where you will find a variety of shops to suit all tastes and price ranges. For a more designer feel, go down to Britomart.
For some culture visit the (free!) Auckland Art Gallery (Toi o Tāmaki), see a show at The Civic, or spend a quiet afternoon at the New Zealand Maritime Museum.
Britomart is the main transportation hub of the city, so you will have easy access wherever you want to go. Buses, trains, and ferries are all accessible.
