"We stayed here for one night as a stop off on the coastal path walk. A large bedroom and bathroom, very clean, lovely roll top bath. Nice view of sea from bedroom. Breakfast was excellent and staff very welcoming. Would highly recommend"

"We have returned after having spent the last 2 nights at The Clarendon for my husbands 40th birthday, the communication was brilliant from start to finish, we loved our room (the goodwin suite) its a touch of luxury with a very reasonable price tag, the beach and pier view absolutely blew me away, after having lost my mum last week it was a welcome distraction as well as a celebration for my husband. We picked Deal so we could go fishing and having a view of the pier made The Clarendon a firm favourite for us, we will definitely be back thank you for having us ❤️"

(Only thing we missed were some smaller coffee cups and a scoop for measuring coffee for the cafetaire) We would certainly stay here again should we be in Deal."

"It’s in a great location for all of Deal. The sea, the town, pubs, restaurants and of course RCPGC. Our only exception to the scoring is comfort .. I am tall and the cottage is small. That aside, everything was excellent and we hope to return soon."

"We were surprised how the accommodation was. Lovely bright sunny lounge. Host left us orange juice in the fridge, fresh fruit on the table and chocolate by the bedside. Very good value for money. We will be staying the next time we visit Rye. "

"Great location but this place is tiny. Set up for a family of four (4 beds) but there isn't even enough room for 4 people to sit around a table for breakfast. And the kitchen area is also tiny and quite impractical. Probs work well for a couple, but we struggled as a family of four (and we are all pretty small!) for four days."
