"The property was in a great location in the countryside, peaceful, and a short scenic walk (about 800 metres) down the hill from Assisi. If you like a bit of exercise and and can walk this distance then it is a perfect way to get to the town each day and enjoy the expanding views when you go up the hill. "Ginestra is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. The grounds and swimming pool are really good and there are views to Assisi (which you can walk to (35-40 minutes). The Property Management team are all very helpful and the food the prepare is very good as well as the local restaurants. On the negative side, we did not have very much outside space and our table and sitting area were part of a shared area where other guests had breakfast or dinner so was not very private. "Hotel Porta Nuovo Assisi - Great location - So close to bus stop - Breakfast was good, lots of choices - We left early and they gave us a grab bag/breakfast, waiting for us by the front, what was inside was surprisingly good. - Staff is very nice - Room was nice and clean - Has fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker - There is a grocery store near by. - Wifi has good signal"
