The Chateau Eau Claire condominium complex is located along the free local bus route, with access to downtown and all four mountains. At the Rubey Park Transit Center, you can catch one of the free buses to the other three mountains (Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass). During the warmer seasons, you can use this free bus service to visit places like the Maroon Bells, Snowmass Village, or the hot springs!

Amazing stay!
We booked a summer roadtrip very spontaneously to Colorado and were so lucky to have found this amazing gem. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Everything you will ever need is here and more. So many little details that made our stay special, from a welcome basket with snacks to the modern lighting in all the rooms to the view (and sounds!) of the river right out our window. Don't hesitate to book a stay here. Had great communication with the host and felt very well cared for.

My wife and I stayed here for a week. Fantastic space with completely updated amenities. The Roaring Fork River in the backyard is completely underrated. Wonderfully peaceful and relaxing stay. My husband and I were very pleased with the condo unit. It is was good as the photos and descriptions posted and very comfortable. The creek below the balcony was awesome! We used the condo as our base to visit Aspen and the surrounding mountains. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops literally blocks away. The perfect sunny weather was icing on the cake. We highly recommend this unit!

This lovely condo is equipped with everything you could need for a beautiful Aspen vacation. It is located just 6 blocks away from all the shops and restaurants. We skiied at Aspen Highlands and Aspen Snowmass. This was the perfect stop over location for hanging with friends. Easy walking distance to the bars and restaurants. The place is beautifully styled. Location, location, location is everything while on vacation and this does not disappoint!! Within walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants……5 minute walk to city market. Easy access to all mountains 30 minute drive to Snowmass and 15 minutes to Buttermilk. Condo is professionally designed and overlooks the river.. Sit by the fire after a long day of skiing!!! Beautiful property on the river. We enjoyed the sound of water rushing over rocks as we sipped cocktails in the evening and as we drank coffee to start our day. The balcony is the perfect extension of the living area with giant windows. The finishes and furniture were all high end and made for a beautiful environment that compliments the natural setting beyond. We want to go back!

Amazing rental and location!
This was our first time in Aspen and this rental is in the heart of the downtown area where everything is walkable or just a few minutes drive. Both my boyfriend and I stayed here and everything was so clean, modern and refreshing. You could stay in a couple nights and be completely content. The view of the stream on the back balcony was absolutely beautiful in the mornings. We also loved the heated floors in the restrooms! It was absolutely perfect for the time we spent there. We even told ourselves we would come back to the same spot if we were to make this trip again. Absolutely recommend 100%!

What a treat! This place was amazing. Everything you could think of was there. Beautifully decorated and spotless. The short walk to downtown is very convenient. This condo is even more beautiful in person! Beds were comfortable and the heated bathroom floors were a treat!

High Quality
This condo appears to be very recently refurbished (or everyone took immaculate care of it on each rental). I am not sure there is anything that one would prefer to have been done better. I would say that everything is high-end, from the kitchen utensils to the beds, bedding, furniture, lighting, shower heads and heated floors in the bathrooms. Anything in Aspen is high dollar, but the furnishings of this place matched. While it is not cheap, it is not overpriced for what you get. It is walking distance to downtown (4 blocks to the museum and grocery store) even with snowpacked sidewalks. The bedrooms windows face a common walkway, but this unit has high quality window coverings that can leave openings at the bottom or top so you can let light in and still have privacy. The deck overlooks the river, such as it is, but it was January when we were there so surface frozen. Because of the river, no neighbors close by from the main living area side. The kitchen area has a very large island eating area which was impressive. Very high quality. You will not be disappointed.
