"This was a great place to stay during our 6 day London trip. Located on a peaceful street minutes away from three tube stations and Paddington Railway Station, getting around was easy. It's also very close to Kensington Park and a number of museums local pubs and plenty of shops. "Good hotel, but check your bill carefully! The hotel itself was very good and in an excellent central location. My wife and I stayed with a group of friends after attending an event nearby, and we were perfectly happy with our stay — until breakfast the following morning. This is where things became disappointing. Our bill stated a 12.5% service charge, yet we were also charged an additional £3.50 per guest — £21 in total — even though our guests had already paid for their breakfasts separately. I find this extremely misleading. If a charge is described as 12.5%, then that is what a customer reasonably expects to be charged. Adding further charges without making them absolutely clear is, in my view, deceptive and leaves a very poor impression. It’s a shame because we genuinely liked the hotel. My advice: enjoy your stay, but check your bill very carefully before paying."

"This hotel is in a central location. Rooms in excellent condition as they were refurbished in 2025. I had breakfast for the five days of my stay. As I have certain dietary needs, they couldn’t accommodate them all . An example is a fruit salad. I can’t do citrus fruits and I asked if they could give me some melon/grapes/Apple . The member of staff replied it comes already made up. Thought this was quite poor. So no fruit for me."

"We arrived at noon, too early for check-in but when we spoke to the concierge he said a room was ready & we could book-in now. But only internal rooms were ready & we took one. in hindsight this was wrong as we overlooked noisy machine equipment which made a constant noise & made sleeping difficult. The bedroom & shower room were both a bit small but nothing we couldn't live with. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice & lots available. Even though the hotel was very busy we were seated quickly. We had a lemonade & a coke in the bar, very small measurers & expensive. Even though we ordered at the bar & took our drinks away ourselves I was amazed to see a service charge added to the bill. Just not worth it. Housekeeping didn't service our room on our 2nd day and it was a bit of a faff to get it sorted. Now we know all this we probably will go back as we know the pitfalls to avoid."
