"Great location, property was as described and very comfortable. Deanna was very responsive to questions as well as relaying important information before check in. It was a great week and would definitely stay here again! Being direct oceanfront we had all the best experiences from 2 turtle nests hatching one night and helping round up the strays to seeing the dolphin while on the beach. . Thank you Deanna!!"

"As a family who enjoys to cook and have meals together at the beach, this is the house for you!Stories by the Sea is one of the most well-stocked homes in terms of kitchen utensils, gadgets, pots, and pans. We successfully cooked breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for 12 in this house without needing to bring in anything additional (we regularly travel with pots, pans, and knives due to previous houses severely lacking basic kitchen needs). Not only was the kitchen well-stocked, but the house had beach gear available for use too - chairs, games, etc. The location on Topsail is convenient to Surf City and local gems like Andrews Produce, Topsail Steamer, and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center. Being right on the beach with an accessible boardwalk made it easy for family members to come and go as they pleased. The water hose ensured we were not tracking in a lot of sand into the house. The house is a duplex but we did not hear our neighbors at all. Stories by the Sea was comfortable. Clean sheets and bath towels were provided upon arrival and bedrooms and shared spaces had been recently cleaned. Ample parking was available. This is a house we will definitely rebook!"

"Location was excellent, could see sound on one side of the deck and ocean from the other! We especially liked the great room. Everyone could spread out and claim their favorite spot! But, hands down, the kitchen was the real winner. We had every appliance we could possibly want, lots of spices, and dishes for storage, eating, and glassware for drinking! It was a nice bonus to walk in to a very clean home too!"
