"I went to Goa after 10yrs! Booked LA after landing. I wanted to stay in a typical Goan/Portuguese home instead of a hotel. LA everything I expected and more. From the ambience of restored charm, to the frinedly and helpful staff
Jokin & Patrick were exception in guiding me to places, arranging transportation, to allowing me for a late check out. I went for 2 nights and stayed 5 lol. Part of it is Goa and part of it was this amazing place i stayed in. Thank You! LA for making my solo trip an...

"Can’t recommend this place enough. There’s a daily timetable with activities that are included in the cost of staying, mainly yoga, plus there’s a very healthy, delicious and reasonably priced cafe/restaurant so you don’t need to go hunting for somewhere outside to eat. It’s close enough to the beach if you want somewhere to swim/sunbathe, plus you can walk into central Arambol (30 mins) if you’re looking for something more lively. You may find you need to book spa treatments a day in advance,...

"The staff were very efficient, friendly, and provided excellent service. The hotel itself felt very safe and secure. However, the surrounding area was not very clean or easy to walk around.
Guests also need to arrange private taxis—either on their own or through the hotel—if they want to visit places like Old Goa or the beaches in South Goa. In my opinion, the hotel should have a concierge who can help organize group tours for guests."
"Lovely hotel with great staff. Abeer made us feel welcome. The servers at breakfast were utmost helpful, pleasant, accommodating and humble.
During our stay there was a conference and even a wedding. There was some noise and the breakfast was hectic, nevertheless we absolutely loved our stay. The rooms were perfect. The beds were huge. And the pool was lovely. Unfortunately the foodservice at the pool takes very long. That could have been better, maybe the pool should get their own kitchen, that might help.
My family and I loved our stay. Thank you all."
"Our second stay at this property, the personal remembered us from before and they looked after us. There are a lot of people to mention but highlighting some of those fantastic guys who looked after us where Miraz the chef who looked after all our culinary needs, Yogesh, mustafa and srijita looking after us at breakfast. Vijay and all at the pool area looking after us. All the cleaning staff were amazing. Had a great 11days at the property Krishna the manager was attentive to all our needs. Plus all the support staff were great. Will definitely visit again as location is perfect. "
"Beautiful resort with luxurious buildings to roam and relax in. Room was very clean, staff (especially Vijay from the resort centre) were exceptionally attentive. The pool was a good temperature, and there were multiple sections and seating areas. There's even a shopping area within the resort!
Multiple restaurants with a different cuisine meant we didn't eat the same meal twice during our 2 day stay!"
"First and foremost, pay attention to their uncompromising cancellation and change policy! They do not budge. Also, the "no outside food" policy is ridiculous. While you can easily go to other restaurants outside of the grounds, (which are substantially cheaper!) The pricing for drinks and most food is "resort" pricing and rather skewed for the area. We actually had two rooms, the first during a business conference and the second because we stayed longer for a holiday. The first room over looked a disastrous construction project going on at the hotel because rooms were in short supply and construction didn't stop until 22:00 and security lighting was on all night. The second room was better, but the bath was dirty with soap scum on the tub fixtures and obvious mold in the corners. The most distressing thing though was the fact that the cleaning staff cleaned the coffee mugs in the room using hand soap from the bathroom. I know this because I discreetly marked the mugs to see if they were changed and the "cleaned" mugs smelled exactly like the scent of the bathroom hand soap. There were some positives, most of the staff was pleasant, the food was good with a large selection and my wife enjoyed the spa offerings. The pool area was well kept and quite nice. I just wish they didn't spray for mosquitoes at dusk everyday while we were out at the pool."
ITC Grand Goa, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Goa
4/10 Poor
" We have been staying at this property since its Hyatt days, which makes this February visit even more disappointing.
Four families travelled from different cities to celebrate an 80th birthday. Despite sharing all booking details in advance, there were repeated lapses. I received an incorrect airport pickup call meant for another guest, and the response from the front office was a routine, mechanical apology with no ownership.
More seriously, although all four rooms were booked under my ID and secured with my credit card, the staff asked my father-in-law and sister-in-law for their cards and charged ₹50,000 to my sister-in-law without authorisation. Even after raising the issue, the amount has not been reversed 12 days later.
On checkout, I was again asked about collecting payments from others, forcing me to settle everything myself to avoid further confusion.
The property is lovely, but the front office operations are deeply disappointing. A milestone family celebration was overshadowed by preventable errors and poor handling."
