"Staff very friendly and helpful. The property is dated but the amenities and rooms were good. As I entered my room I could feel the heating was on slightly which was ideal from coming in from a cool damp evening. Breakfast was continental which was fine. Would definitely return"

"We stayed 1 night at portavadie hotel in a standard lodge room. It was spacious and clean with the bonus of a mini fridge & pint of milk which is a nice touch. It surprised me how big the complex . You can either walk or drive to the leisure facilities as its not in the same building as reception & restaurant. The restaurant food is good & the staff very pleasant. Especially Debbie who served us at breakfast. I would definitely stay here again"

"Stonefield Castle is a magical place. We had a room with a view of the Loch which was spectacular. The restaurant where breakfast is served has views over the Loch, the gardens, and the woods. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The gardens and the shore are so beautiful."

Staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was not brilliant. The buffet part needed to be replenished more frequently. Limited vegetarian choices and they could not provide the one option as there were no mushrooms."
