All rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. food in the restaurant was very good and service was fast and staff very friendly and helpful. overall a great place to start our vacation. "Once again booked at Crowne Plaza and their is renovation works underway. No advance warning again. On this occasion the lifts were under service/renovation. 20 minutes waiting on lifts that were full from the floors above. I dont know what has happened to the restaurant but the meals are getting worse and this one was the worst ever experienced. The steak meal was cold, undercooked and had a skin on it from the hot plate, the other was a burger, totally inedible and certainly not worth £19. The options for eating around the Hydro is limited and this was a better appeal for the Plaza, but will certainly think twice about booking for future visits. Cannot fault the reception or service staff."

"The staff were very helpful in recommending restaurants and other sights to see in Glasgow. The hotel was modern and clean, providing a lot of amenities. The location is also great, a short distance from the city center but still in a quieter, more open area."

"nice hotel and room. tv and tea and coffee all fine. reasonable price too....the negative is they want £100 deposit and this is way too much!!! i Heard others trying to check in saying they didnt have that amount of money in there bank..Argyle hotel next door is £1 deposit. So for this reason only i would not go again!"

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff really friendly. We tried different restaurants, all were good. The breakfast was good, everyone will find something. The gym is excellent, the pool is nice and warm, though too crowded and may be a bit small for the hotel size plus club members plus lodges. Due to the beautiful location it is complicated to get around without a car. "
