Beautiful Country Estate

We loved our stay, the house is very well equipped. Everything has been thoughtfully done. Accommodated our extended family perfectly. Location is stunning & the creek at the bottom of the property is perfect for a picnic.Overall perfect!

Perfect Piece of Paradise

Girls weekend away

Perfect property with 7 bedrooms for a group of 7 ladies! Fabulous long weekend - lots of relaxing, swimming, wine tasting, playing finska on the gorgeous lawn, cooking and eating. Just amazing and already chosen a weekend to return next year!

Perfection

Our group of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aroonalea. The property was more beautiful in person and suited our annual girls trip perfectly. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, the location is the perfect distance from town and the kitchen had everything you need to cook for 12 or more people. Annie was wonderful to deal with also, very friendly. I highly recommend this property.

Weekend away with old friends

Annie’s place wash perfect. Had everything you need to cook and relax. Clean, modern with a beautiful view. Enough of everything including seating for the 13 of us.

Tremendous property

We were 3 families each with 2 daughters who wanted a nice spacious home for a holiday and we certainly found it here. A very well appointed house ( loved the toast tongs and the picnic boxes). Great place - highly recommend it. And Mudgee is a big surprise- heaps of wineries and nice shops and antique stores.

The property was immaculate and attention to detail was amazing. The fit out and provision of everything you could possibly want was impressive. Participate loved that every single kitchen cupboard and drawer were labeled with their contents.

Loved it!

Had a lovely 10 days and enjoyed every moment. Ages in our group ran from 16 to 77 and there was plenty of space for everyone to hang out and then come together for meals/BBQS together. We were planning to see a lot of the sights around Mudgee but ended up spending a lot more time than we expected at the property as it was a very relaxing spot.

Sensational!!!!

Perfect accommodation for a large group of family or friends. The house is extremely well equipped with anything you could possibly need and is situated on a beautiful property 10 mins from Mudgee with stunning views. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit toasting marshmallows. Annie the host was fantastic, extremely helpful, very welcoming and nothing was a problem. We loved it so much we are already chatting about our next stay ❤️

Wonderful property

We shared this property between 3 families and it was perfect. Close enough to Mudgee but far enough away to feel like a real country holiday. We spent most afternoons down by the river at the bottom of the property watching the kids try to catch a fish , very relaxing. The house itself has everything needed and couldn’t recommend it highly enough for a large family or group of friends. Thanks to our host Annie for a great Easter weekend

Magical Stay

We cannot express how much we loved our weekend at AroonaLea. From the moment Annie got in touch she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The house is incredible and every little detail thought of. So much effort has gone in to create a beautiful and welcoming home. Loads of space to find a quiet spot or enough room to all be together. We laughed, we crafted, we ate and we didn't want to leave! We'll be back in the summer to enjoy the pool and the river. Thank you Annie!

AMAZING HOLIDAY GETAWAY - STUNNING LOCATION

Myself & my friends stayed at this beautiful property over the Christmas period & I honestly do not think the pictures on Stayz do it any justice! We like to go away as often as we can as a group of almost 20 usually & this home had more than enough room for everyone. It is hands down the most stunning place we have stayed, from the spacious bedrooms to the spectacular back garden view of the mountains. Our host Annie was so accommodating, helping with early check in, taking the extra step for a Christmas welcome when we arrived & to also be kind enough to leave a Christmas gift which was appreciated. Thank you Annie & we look forward to coming back to stay in the future!

A Rural Delight

So peaceful and quiet! The house feel like a home; yet big enough for 14 of us to either gather as one, or to find our own quiet space. The shaded meadow at the rear of the property is ideal for a country picnic and a dip in the river. Annie, our host, was truly interested in ensuring that we enjoyed our stay. And even after we left, she tracked down and ensured the safe return of my grand-daughter's lost teddy!! Thanks Annie.

Milestone in Mudgee

Our family was visiting Mudgee for a birthday milestone and we absolutely loved Aroonalea! The location, property features, homestead and facilities were second to none. Annie was such a responsive host and her attention to detail meant that nothing was overlooked to make our stay so enjoyable. The outlook was beautiful and the home design, including four bathrooms, easily accommodated our large family. We were also impressed by the duplicate appliances, large dining areas and numerous games which made entertaining our large group so much easier. We highly recommend Annie and her property to those that want to experience a truly memorable getaway. Hopefully, we'll be back there again soon!
