「We had the most amazing holiday in Almyrida. Villa Iannis was beautiful and the restaurants served great food. We particularly liked Psaros and Francois. The villa was spotless, the pool was bigger than we anticipated and Jan was so kind, helpful and just very lovely. We will be back! The only issue for us was the layout. You can’t see the pool from the villa and there were a lot of steps but our children are 11 and 14 so it was fine for us. Thank you Jan, Dimitra and the Almyrida team ❤️😊」

「A lovely villa in a peaceful tranquil retreat. Wonderful views of the coast and surrounding hills. Watch the Eagles soaring above. Very peaceful you can listen to the wildlife around you. The nearest Taverna is just over a kilometer away but you are unlikely to encounter a car walking there. Beautiful lake nearby to see the fresh water turtles.」

「Overall loved the place. There were a few niggles like the garden lights being intentionally turned off detracting from the atmosphere, penny-pinching in the extreme. Not being able to leave the washing machine or dishwasher on when going out because the electricity fob was locked to the door key, very patronising, especially considering the money paid for rental.the location was excellent and the outside ameneties great. 「Good equipment, comfortable beds with good mattresses, comfortable large sofa. TV with many international channels - we did not use it, however, because the beautiful view from the terrace was much more attractive. In our opinion, the house is suitable for up to 5 adults. Pon is a very nice and always accessible landlord. 「This is a superb villa option and perfect for our mixed age group of parents, adult children and grandma. The villa is very clean, really well stocked with what you need and with stunning views over Souda Bay. You need a car to explore but we loved the location. Plaka has a number of restaurants and is only a short stroll away and the hidden cove of Koutalas is an absolute gem.」

「This was a beautiful, spacious house set in the foothills with an amazing view. It was peaceful , clean, and had everything I needed in the kitchen. The hosts were easy to communicate with. I struggled with finding it. Google Maps directed me to the area but not the exact address, and although directions were provided, I didn't find it on my own. 「Villa Tamos is a wonderful, well-equipped, spacious villa in a beautiful setting and we absolutely loved our time there. The pool is as perfect as the view and grounds and Stuart and Lorraine were super-helpful hosts. The villa is well located for exploring Crete and the restaurants/bars/shops of Almyrida are only ten minutes drive away. There is a long unmade track to the property, which needs driving with care, but it's well worth it, and we hope to return one day! Thank you for everything....

「Spectacular views from poolside and villa balcony. Well equipped kitchen not lacking for anything. Spacious lounge and dining area. The air conditioning unit probably needs a service in this room. Bedrooms were excellent sized beds and comfy firm matresses. Airconditioning was perfect. Pool was a great size and always quiet and the views towards the sea were spectacular.
