Set in the enchanting Northumbrian countryside within the treeline of a small woods, the Lodge is within easy reach of Embleton Bay and its gorgeous beach and Dunstanburgh Castle. The village of Embleton is close by with a variety of shops and eateries, a little emporium where you can buy all sorts of upmarket gifts and trinkets as a reminder of your stay. There are two particularly popular pubs, Greys Inn and The Dunstanburgh Castle Inn, a small Italian bistro and a rustic wood-fired pizza takeaway/outdoor cafe.
Adjoining its owners' large 20th Century country home and set within its grounds, you will have access to five-acres of woodland including an orchard and even a river that gurgles peacefully through the land and makes for a wonderfully relaxing to walk.
The interior of the lodge would not look out of place in a household interior magazine with its arts and crafts style furnishings, relaxing colours and luxurious fabrics. In the bathroom a claw footed bath provides a heavenly spot, just add your favourite bubble bath and some hot water.
