「A good location, close to the bus and train stations. Friendly staff, good use of the kitchen if you wish. Air-conditioning was fine once we had found that it was unplugged and had to be plugged in!」

「Exactly as described and in a great location. My room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I didn’t make use of the communal areas but they were all really clean and quiet. Saw lots of reviews about external noise, but I didn’t hear any at all (Sunday to Wednesday)」

「Loved this guest house, as needed somewhere for one night before leaving Portugal. We had a geound floor room, and the beach view was higher than our level, but you can see the sea when standing. Lovely to hear the waves, and i was concerned it was under the flight path but very little plane noise too. There was a party on the roof that night so we couldnt use, but there are so many other bars and restaurants on the strip it didnt matter, and everyone had packed up and gone by 9.30. Would...

「Beautiful, serene location. Views are incredible, pool was wonderful and we ate dinner at the hotel. One of the best tasting foods of our entire 2 week stay in Portugal/Lisbon. Feels like home.」

Having breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea was delightful. The staff was fantastic. Rosa and her colleague went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable. 「Nice clean simple accommodations. We would stay there again. The village of Silves is a nice, quiet smaller town (at least in May). Restaurants and sites are in walking distance. There’s also free public parking one block away.」
