"Quick, efficient check-in by a pleasant member of staff. Room was simply furnished and rather compact; yet clean and quiet. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the hot water was plentiful. At a reasonable price and just a few paces from the train station, what more can one expect? Would certainly stay here again. "

"It was a stop half way between the north and the south, we wanted to try somewhere new. It is completely basic, hence the price, but just off the motorway, easy to get to. Easy check-in, rooms clean. The shower wasn’t great but otherwise all good. The tv wasn’t plugged in for some reason and it took two of us to plug it in as it was very awkward. We had breakfast and it was decent, the lady working it was very nice. The actual village is absolutely stunning, very picturesque. All in all, a good stay"

"Very clean, very tidy perfect for an over night stop over. Check in was a bit different with the screen and we didn’t actually see a member of staff at all during our stay! Nevertheless exactly what was needed for 1 night. "
