"The bed was very nice. The water in the shower was either scalding hot or ice cold so unable to have a nice warm shower. Electrical outlets would not work on the bedside tables."

"Parking was $37.50 a night. Hotel room was not ready at 2:30 for 3pm check which we have never had an issue with at any other hotel. They did let us check in to a different room type. They put us in a room with two queen beds instead of king room. The room smelled so bad, like a moldy towel. Ac was either not working or freezing- there was NO in between. Beds were uncomfortable. The only good thing was location to restaurants and nightlife but there are dozens of other hotels to choose from in that area. We would not stay here again or recommend."

"Staying at the Mint was a great decision. It was my second time and I would return again. Rooms are very clean and has all the amenities needed for a long stay or a quick weekend. We used the pool area several times and had a wonderful experience. We grilled our dinner and enjoyed the quick clean up. The Mint is in walking distance to many different areas of St Petersburg. We especially enjoyed the green bench and the food truck Offset Sandwich Exchange Yum! I would give our stay a 5 star visit!!!!"

"I loved the stay. The room was a little smaller than I’m used to. The parking garage only was a little different ( almost like being in NYC ) overall the hotel was in the heart of downtown and you could get most places by walking. I would recommend."
