1. Jacob Ohalo Kinneret

Jacob Ohalo Kinneret
Emek HaYarden
7.6 out of 10, Good, (123 reviews)
"The place is close to most places in the Galilee area and is great for families with kids. The view of the lake from the dining room is fantastic but you don't have access to the water. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only drawback was that we found the AC made the room initially too cold so we turned it off. There are lots of places to go for walks and a canoe/paddle boarding rental near by access from Yardenit down the road."

"Staff was very rude and did not appreciate guests being there. There was a lizard in our room we had to get out. Refuse to help with taxis, etc. could be because we were American. They also asked us to pay more at the hotel beyond our reservation by $700 and blamed it on Expedia. Pool slide and food were good!"

Top Afikim Hotel Reviews

King Solomon Hotel Tiberias

King Solomon Hotel Tiberias

10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful hotel with great balcony views of the Sea of Galilee. Staff were very accommodating. I ended up extending my reservation 2 additional nights due to lack of transportation out of Tiberius on shabbat and enjoyed just staying in the room all day Saturday. Cons: there was hair in the corner of shower floor (not mine) and some moldā€¦everything else was spotless except the floors around the shower. For such a nice hotel I was surprised not to find a hair dryer or iron but that didnā€™t take away from my enjoyment of the room."
