The rooms are clean have just about everything you’d need- fridge,microwave,hairdryer.There is an indoor pool and hot tub.Beds are comfortable and provide good body support. Rooms are reasonably priced.Silver Surf is conveniently located with a restaurant,The Big Sur cafe next door and there’s a liquor store/grocery store a short walk from the hotel. Go a bit south,you have Cambria and you can get gas and shop, Go north and you have that beautiful coastline leading into Big Sur. I will stay here again."

"We booked our first stay at Castle Inn for the summer for one night with our family & simply loved it, so we recently booked a 2 night stay for my husband and I for our 12 year Anniversary. We especially loved having a beach front view and access to walk across the street for an even better view of the beach. The surrounding area is very peaceful and safe. The staff was very attentive. Especially Jeff. We hope to continue making memories here with our family."

"The staff were a great help in extra amenities we needed. They would come and clean the room daily. The bodywah shampoo and conditioner were small for four people to a room and the AC did not work but they did provide fans for the room which was nice. "love this place- one of my favorites along the central coast. Solo traveling female on the weekend, I never felt unsafe or watched. All the staff were kind. room was clean. The grounds were kept. there's a trail that leads to downtown Cambria (not recommended to walk at night as its not lit). Its just a great place to stay. Had dinner in the lounge Friday night and had great food and a nice couple entertainers and a good selection of cocktails."
