「Formidable! The pod was very well equipped, super clean and fully functional. The jacuzzi was ready and the perfect touch for after a walk in the neighborhood. The view from the pod is amazing, there are table and chairs outside to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. The host is full of attentions (food for the breakfast and apero, easy communication). Parking easy, next to the pod. Full privacy too/no vis-a-vis. We had an amazing stay with the kids. 」

「We had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay. The property is well equipped, private and with great views of the sunset. Plentiful bird life was also an attraction. Self-catering was very easy with the well-stocked store nearby, as well as larger options not far away in Gairloch. And the area is beautiful - lots to see and amazing views across sea, lochs and mountains. Really excellent. 」

「We stayed in this house as a last minute pivot when we couldn’t get to the islands because of a storm. It turned out better than we could have anticipated! Communication with host was great, check in was easy, everything was spotless and comfortable. We loved the views out of the front window and we even saw dolphins just outside. Great stay!」

「Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. 」

「This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy.
