This Hotel went FAR beyond expectations- The sauna /spa is extraordinary- a real treat. If you’re driving into the hotel make sure you follow the entrance instructions. The restaurant and bar are “petite” and positively delightful. Can we give a 6th star????

Amazing hotel and well worth the money in my opinion. Came in early December, so it wasn’t too crowded for the busy season yet. Excellent service and facility. Book it!

Altapura richly deserves its 5-star rating. The resort is spectacular, and all the amenities are at one's fingertips. The ski school or instructors meet you there, the rentals and ski departures are just at the door, the food, wines, and all amenities are first rate. The staff was outstanding, without exception. They were on top of their game all the way from unloading the car, to bringing up the luggage, to the restaurant staff, to the ski room. Staff was attentive and nice. Location was great taking into account the free shuttle service which was available on the minute. Facilities super nice.

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful, especially Anton in Reception. The grounds were in pristine condition. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner did whatever they could to please us: Pasquale at dinner and the young woman who served at breakfast were especially memorable. Our family of 4 stayed in a junior suite and it was overall a great experience. There was enough room for all of us and all of our gear and the location was really good. Easy access to the gondola and an easy walk around to find food and shops.We loved the town and had a great stay here. My only complaint would have been the pool. Super nice studio room in La Lechere! My husband and I stayed there for skiing in the Three Valleys resort. About a half hour drive for most of the skiing but a good location to be able to ski at different areas each day. The hot tub is not free FYI, there is a charge for a day pass but they are nice thermal spring pools. Tiny kitchen works perfect for two people for simple meals. You will not receive housekeeping every day but you can request it for a fee at the hotel, or just ask the front...
