Skip the crowds and bling of Versailles and treat yourself to this perfect architectural masterpiece (that is, the Chateau-- the hotel is disappointingly modern, with smallish rooms, but overall felt luxurious). "Lovely stylish hotel right on the Loire in the heart of Blois. Excellent underground cat park and super, helpful and friendly staff. We now plan to return on our way back to England from the Dordogne for a further overnight stay. "
