"It has a lovely aesthetic! I like the concept of the place. The terrace is beautiful and has 4 beautiful views of the city and concert arena. You can eat, rest, read and work up there. Casa de La Ciudad, is a local library less than a block away with a lot to read and research. Only down side to this place is the air conditioning, but a good trick is to open the windows and use the fan and wear cool pajamas. I’ll definitely return when the weather is less hot. "

"Fantastic small boutique hotel in Oaxaca. Lots of personal touches from the check-in process to the breakfast cook and staff on the rooftop terrace eating area. It's in the heart of everything, but quiet enough that it's not obvious. If you're looking for a large hotel, this is not your vibe. But if you're looking for a boutique hotel run by a family with tons of hands on touches and authentic architecture and design + big rooms + AC - - this place is the jam!! Definitely recommend "

"I loved this hotel—stylish, comfortable bed, wonderful location, nice restaurant but it was the staff that made it special. I needed assistance at 2am and the night clerk came to my aid without hesitation. Then for the rest of my stay all the staff inquired if I was ok and could they help me. Way above what is expected.
