"Our stay was wonderful. We were lucky that it was warm enough to get into the lake. But even when it got a bit chilly, we enjoyed ourselves in the spa area. And let me tell you this, I've never been in such a charming sauna before. It is partially underwater. When it was windy on the lake, you could see the waves hitting the windows of the sauna in a hypnotic rhythm. The service is really good and friendly. "This was a very basic "hotel". The first room I was put in was pretty bad and looked as though it had not been decorated since the 1980's. There are not blackout curtains on any of the windows so be prepared to have the sun come blasting in at 6 AM. The beds feels like something you would have slept on in sleep away camp when you were a child. I was so disappointed with my room that I begged to be moved to anything better the second and remaining nights. They moved me to a "comfort" room which...

"Impressive hotel. Great location. Excellent car park. Superb breakfast. Took a room in the villa which was very comfortable. Only odd thing was, the external door doesn't appear secure. We were woken by a woman shouting at our door at 05.30. Hotel were totally unbothered by this & told us to call the police! Don't book the villa if you are woman travelling alone."

"The staff and owners are amazing. Myself and 4 coworkers need a large taxi (or 2 normal) to get to a business meeting a few kilometers away and the owner offered the hotel van to drive us there. I truly appreciated this act of kindness"

"The location of this hotel is quite a bit outside of the village, but the walk into town along the lake is so pleasant, it actually was a plus. The town was surprisingly charming and so much more interesting than we were led to believe. (We almost prefer it over Lindau for its charm.)The cobblestoned streets, the lake promenade with several waterside restaurants and cafes, the wineries, the upper town and lower town were fantastic. The hotel staff was extremely positive and helpful and polite....
