"This is an exceptional hotel in Ragusa. Parking is very difficult in Ragusa. The staff takes your car and parks is somewhere and brings it back when you leave. The hotel itself is stunning, a small, boutique property that was rebuilt after an earthquake several years ago. The steps to the second floor are stone, from the 14th century. "This hotel is actually well situated, The San Giorgio church is located just the corner of the hotel, it is walking distance to the center, parking is available when you enter the hotel, however it is only a cul-de-sac! Although search Google map navigation that it a through road to take consequently the mistake took us great pain to back up our car and make the U turn! "

"We had a wonderful 4 nights at the Zafran. A beautiful room and delicious continental breakfast with coffee freshly made to order. The staff were welcoming and so helpful. I could not recommend more highly. Donnalucata was quiet but there were several places to eat nearby. Good location for Noto, Ragusa, Syracuse etc."

"We’ve stayed here before and it was good , this stay the only downfall was the cleaners would begin ( I won’t say early ) cleaning and be making lots of noise moving furniture around , we were on first floor so top floor I would imagine wouldn’t hear them. "We liked the hotel and choose it for it's size of the rooms which are hard t find in the area. Proximity from here to Modica/Ragusa was also great and why we picked it. Breakfast was nice since there arent many options very close but there was a charge. Staff was very friendly and helpful but some didnt speak English very well so patience is key or better to know some Italian!
