"サーフィンのメッカです。早朝から夕方まで、誰かしらサーフィンを楽しんでいらっしゃいます。外海から来る波はちょうどいい波乗りのチャンスを与えてくれるようです。5月ー7月は、深夜に海亀も産卵に上陸するポイントのようで、ちょうど宿泊中に朝方浜に謎の紋様が刻まれており、近くに行って確認したところ、一匹の海亀が上陸した地点から直線で亀のヒレを前後ろに動かした模様が描かれ、産卵箇所らしき場所に大きな穴ができていて、そこに卵を産んだようなのです。産んだのちに海に戻ろうと、穴の周りを進んで、上陸場所から大きく半円を描いて海に戻って行った後が残っていました。そんな神秘な海岸の目の前に立つホテルです。夜、雲がなければ、本当の満天の星も堪能できます。素晴らしいロケーションでした。レストランのお食事も、地元、鹿児島特産の食材を美味しくいただけますし、普段では体験できないことが体験できる貴重なホテルだと思います。"

"The food at the restaurant is not that great and costly. The onsen ( outdoor and indoor) and large swimming pool are great and beautiful. Thanks to the very nice Japanese lady that speak english with an Australian accent, she was very helpful - too bad she is only working in the restaurant and not at the front desk! If you plays a game of pool, the manager will rudely stop your game if your game is lasting a little more than the money and time you paid (2,000 yen per hour). Very rude,...

"We stayed in one of the bigger rooms with the outdoor bath. Only fits one at a time for adults but the deck and upper deck are beautiful. Room is overall clean, big and kitchen was great considering the island food opens late and closes early. A car is needed to access and anyone visiting Yakushima needs a rental car. I don't think it is possible to enjoy it as much without one after being there. The staff and owners are wonderful people and really treat their guests like gold. The tankan juice...

"Seriously don't stay here!!! First it's not really a hotel, it's a guest house which run by a man and woman. The place is hard to find but that's not actually the real problem. The attitude of the guy is very rude and unprofessional that I couldn't believe. On the check out day at 10:06 the guy came and started pounding at the door, when I opened it he took the door from me opened it widely while I was dressing up and said "check out now!" "部屋は広めですが、かなり年季が入ってるのと、風呂も何十年ぶりかで木製の深めの風呂でした ご飯が美味しくなかったのが残念です"

"前回利用してリピート利用です。他にも少し安いゲストハウスはありますが、ここを利用してしまうと部屋の広さと使いやすさがピカイチで、他の選択肢を選べなくなってしまいます。プラスポイントは部屋の広さ、掃除が徹底されている点、キッチンや冷蔵庫、お皿など自炊グッズの充実、タオル類のクオリティ等々。マイナスポイントとしては、空港や港からの距離が少し遠いことくらいです。レンタカーがあれば大きな問題にはなりませんが。ちなみに宿から車で5分で海中温泉やJRホテルの温泉がありますので、温泉に入る場合もとても便利です。あと、JRホテルへ入る道にAコープというスーパーがあるので買物もとても便利です。"
