"The location is great! Walking distance to Fisher Family Pier. The pools were great and we were right across the street from the beach. We spent one day at the Royal Vista resort which was very nice too. "

"Had a very enjoyable 5-night stay at the property when coming to town for a training session and charter fishing trip. Having a full size refrigerator and kitchen was very beneficial when you get a catch of Wahoo, Mahi and Tuna and have to keep them well cooled before you head home. (No way to do that effectively in a "hotel atmosphere") Mgmt staff were very responsive through texting when needed. Will definitely go back next time I am in town for another fishing charter or trip to the S....

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cottages by the Ocean and will happily stay again. My wife's first comment when we stepped inside was, 'What a great little find!" While the interiors are obviously a bit dated (which really only adds to their charm) they are impeccably clean and the tropical landscaping is beautifully maintained. "Never got an email with instructions on how to enter our unit. Had to call the owner. Unit not clean and missing towels and toiletries. Furniture is old and bed uncomfortable. Beach chairs not workable. Overall in poor condition. "

"Amazing hotel. The kitchen has everything you need, room is very clean, pool is awesome, grounds are clean and beautiful. 5 minutes walk to the beach. I wish I could stay longer this time. Has 4 1 disabled parking spots. Thank you to the new owners for honering the old price I had reservations for. Next year we're planning to stay in Fort Lauderdale longer and this will be the first property I will call to check the pricing."
