「This is a beautiful home with lovely gardens and rooms. We enjoyed our stay. It was an drive to the business district, breweries and down to the river. The Secret Room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the attached bathroom had plenty of counter space. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. 「Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back.」

We were able to stay in the new titanic suite, which had adorable touches from old newspaper print, to white star line memorabilia, to even a violin that you can almost hear playing as if the ship was sinking. 「Check in was a breeze. This was a perfect little neighborhood to walk our dog, Dexter. The little trails throughout were fun to check out and some lead right down to the Sandy River. This location offered a central spot for us to venture on hikes and bike rides. We very much enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the evenings. 」

Pay attention to the directions they give you, Google/Apple maps will not take you right to the house 2. The kitchen is well stocked and it is easy to cook in this house 3.
