"The location is wonderful and the team are super helpful. Breakfast was also lovely. The problem was that the whole bathroom flooded every time you used the shower. Even aiming the shower head at the wall in the corner didn’t help. "

"It is in a very central location on a green square with trees and statues easy to walk to the harbour or the main train station or big shopping streets. Surrounded by great restaurants too. The only negative is that they did not refill the minibar when they cleaned the room - which was good for our health ! "

The spa is lovely, rooms are well done with all the amenities, fitness room is convenient, restaurant is wonderful, and it is close to public transport and a grocery store. It is a great location near the harbor and amazing local restaurants. Definitely eat pizza at the Pizzeria Via Tribunali."

"First and foremost: the staff. I had the pleasure to discuss with Abdi, Sini, Eeli and George. Awesome people they are! We had the opportunity to use two different rooms: a regular two-twin-beds room and the Lucky You suite. The regular room had everything to satisfy us, even though it is a little small by North American standards. However, the decor and the furniture made it comfortable and lively. Also, the space is well used and the furniture is efficient. What can I say about the Lucky...

"I unexpectedly had a 1 day layover in Helsinki and had to make arrangements last minute. If you are a woman alone traveling and need a fast and safe place to stay this is absolutely a great choice. The shuttle was on time, the hotel was clean and accommodating. My room was small as expected but clean and comfortable, perfect for one person. The restaurant was good as well and the server was a delightful man with a sense of humor. If I’m ever in this situation again I won’t hesitate to come back....

"We enjoyed our one night stay at Hotel Hanasaari very much. It is a 15 minute scenic walk from the Kouvusaari Metro (once on the Metro, it is only a 10 minute ride to the main Helsinki Railway station).
