"The room was ok, but beds need new mattresses, because existing ones are uncomfortable. Also the rooms could do with updating as they look like the mid 80's. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food could be more varied and not so subject to the taste of the English guests. What bothered us was that English guests would get drunk in the evening and there wasn’t any quiet over the night on the balconies as well as on the streets around the hotel. "plates, utensils is not wash properly. Limited schedule for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks are average. You cannot enjoy much of the bar because there’s always a long queue every time you want to get a drink. Limited staff who provide the service. "

"Kort vei til stranda. Litt langt å gå til nærmeste restaurant og kafe, men helt ok. Var litt utenfor sesongen så det var litt stille, og mye som var stengt. Veldig hyggelig camping (vi leide rom). Drar gjerne tilbake. "

"We had a really good stay at El Pekinaire. Great location just a few minutes walk from the beach or restaurants. The room was very clean and modern, with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly and helpful. We used the parking option which was good value compared to the on street parking and kept our hire car safe inside. "

"Firstly, the rooms have not sound proof. We could hear everything from the room next door, conversation, using the toilet and shower, being played which was not even loud, people coming and going banging doors all the time. Even got woken by someone being sick, in the night. No kettles or fridges in rooms. (may be an oversite on my part for not noting when I booked). We go to Calella every year same time, certainly won't be booking this hotel again."

"I travelled to take part in Ironman Barcelona. This place is in a perfect location, start line is almost just across the road. Rooms are spacious and bright. Staff are very friendly. And the roof terrace is a nice place to chill by the pool."

"The hotel is just 10mins walk to the train station. There are also taxis. About 15 mins walk to the beach. Shopping and groceries and small shops around. Good location and you'll feel safe even at walking at night. "
