"Amazing location. One of the cleanest places I’ve stayed. No shoes allowed - tatami mats - slippers provided for bathrooms and lounge area. Very convenient location. Right by Omicho market, a large mall w food market underground, walking distance to all the main attractions and Lawson 7-11 right around the corner. Great place to stay. Very comfortable. Note the locker size is small. I was able to fit a 45L backpack and day bag no problem but it won’t work if you have a suitcase."

"Absolutely brilliant. I would definitely book this accommodation again if I returned to Kanazawa! It was always spotlessly clean. The onsen was a lovely way to end the day! There is no bag storage room- rather, they provide a lock for you to secure your bag in the reception area, which I think is great as I was the only one with access to the key to unlock my bag. They change your bedding if you stay longer than three nights. Free towels, slippers, pyjamas, hair dryer / straighteners etc. There...

"The friendly staff greeted me at the door, spoke enough english so check-in was easy and quick. They then showed me around and proceeded to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs to my room, above and beyond customer service - as with everywhere in Japan. A nice quiet accommodation with an instant friendly warmth when you walk through the door. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here."

"I’m not one for walking a lot but we could easily hop onto a bus or walk from here to many of the tourist sites, the loop bus stop and restaurants. There are large shopping centres nearby as well as shops too but nice souvenirs of our holiday."

"First off this hotel has one of the worst check-in procedures I have experienced. the property is supposed to email you a pin number for door access, 48 hours before check in. even with multiple requests for the pin, I did not receive it until I had already been staying at the hotel for two nights. this left me locked out for over an hour the first evening. the property does have a contact number to call to get the pin; however, if you’re a foreign tourist using an esim or don’t have...

"Hotel was in a quiet area but just down the road from a main area. The hotel was quiet and they accommodated our early check in. We had a big room with a nice patio. The only issue was that there was a strong musk smell. I think it is due to the wood but one person in my group was sensitive to the smell and it bothered them. "

"A fabulous, quaint, traditional property in a superb location. The free hot bathing room privately available, was very enjoyable too. The proprietor was very attentive and helpful and you can tell he's rightly very proud to be Japanese. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say is we found the mattresses uncomfortable. That may be just our bodies, but we struggled. "
