"We needed a place to stay for one night having arrived at Palma Airport late in the evening. Hostalet can Pep (a B & B) is situated about forty minutes from the airport in the small traditional Mallorcan town of Alaro in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. The host, Dagmar is a very pleasant and informative lady and very proud of her 'hostalet', which is situated in a traditional Mallorca (Spanish) house in the town. "I was thrilled to find Embat Hotel to be so clean and the staff so friendly. Montuiri remains unadulterated by tourists and, as such, provides a real view of what traditional life and culture on the island is. People in the town are very friendly, and the views of the island from the top of the nearby mountain are stunning.
