"The property was in a good location. Being picked up at the airport upon arrival was great. Manager did not speak english and failed to mention that dishes for the kitchen were actually in our room. We were not told in advance about the cultural show. There was only a sign in Spanish on the day it took place, so we missed it. The batheoom was extremely small. No bar soap or shampoo available. "The room had everything I needed - a coffee station, a fridge, a very nice bathroom and a fan. The room was cleaned every day. The staff are just the two owners a mother and son duo that helped me sort out everything on the island from transportation to tours and more all to my request. The only downside about this stay is the distance from the center of town but if you rent a car as most of the visitors do in the island it's irrelevant."

"This was more like staying with an aunt and uncle than a hotel. They invited me to share meals and encouraged me to use the kitchen and family room. You can’t be in a USA hotel frame of mind, but if you can leave that behind, you will enjoy your stay here!"

"The hotel has an amazing location - very close to the beach, wonderful restaurants, and walking to downtown Hanga Roa. We appreciated the space -- two bedrooms and a kitchen area. They also had a back area with a hanging rack that was ideal of swimsuits and towels. One issue - bring earplugs as there are a lot of local roosters and dogs - and they don't only crow and bark in the day. I think, though, this is an issue for most places you would stay in Hanga Roa - not just this hotel."
