"The Eliassen Rorbuer was absolutely amazing!! The staff was helpful before the trip answering all of my questions which I had a lot. The view was amazing. Make sure to try to get a cabin that looks out to the Mountain View. I recommend this to everyone. It is a quiet little site and has a great restaurant Gadus on site and a close walk to Anita’s which the fish soup was delicious! I want to go back already!!! Thank you so much!"

"Everything about the hotel was great apart from there not being any staff. I know it says that there are no staff but there is not anyone to even call if you have a question as the office is only 8-5 Monday- Friday. "

"Our second time here and we would not stay anywhere else. Funky, friendly, and fun! Amazing bar and restaurant plus super nice staff! They arranged for taxis to meet us and then to deliver us to the airport. We had a great Arctic dinner w fine wine and a lovely setting. Thank you all for another great stay!"

"Das Hotel ist zu nah an der Autobahn. Deshalb ist es morgens sehr laut. Auch der Lichtschutz am Fenster ist nicht ausreichend, da wir hier sehr weit im Norden sind, ist es ab 3 Uhr hell."

"Place badly needs new curtains. In my three week trip in Norway this place had the lightest room at night easily. Curtains are white which fills the room with light closer to summer solstice. It’s an older house so I wasn’t expecting things to be perfect but that should be a super easy thing to upgrade/replace"

"Great for our needs. No TV. Small beds. Safe. Small town. No lighting outside so careful entering when dark. This is most likely for viewing Northern lights. We used a flashlight. No staff or reception here. PROs: Beautiful location and views. Simple. On the water. Saw Northern Lights right outside the door. Easy check-in. (Cell service is strong across the islands, so no problem getting check-in email. Plus many places of business have free wifi.) CONs: Not many parking spaces compared to...

"The apartment is cute and clean, and the location is amazing walking distance from many attractions. Amazing view from The balcony. The management was kind and responsive to us ! I would only suggest some toilettes and / coffee - tea as a great touch. "

"I like the mirrors in the rooms to make up for no windows. When I booked through Expedia, I never got the door code emailed, so I had to call the staff when I got to the hostel. Eventually, I got access, but that was a bit annoying. Otherwise the bathrooms and kitchen were clean and neat. "
