, the area looks a little bit shady when coming at night, like a gentrified hipster area, but during the day you can see they have alot of shops and the free access to the onsen is wonderful, apparently on clear days you can see mt. fuji from the outdoor pool. the mini house room we stayed in was super cool and comfortable. and theres an amazing italian restaurant 5 min walking from the hotel called castigliona which is cash only so bring alot with you, but...

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is beautiful, overlooking the ocean and a rocky cove with clear water. The onsen was clean, with nice amenities and the same gorgeous views. The breakfast and dinner buffets were wonderful, and the futons were fluffy. Murayama San at the front desk was very kind and helpful. We would love to visit again! "
