「Great, quaint cabin, that is well maintained and tastefully appointed. Setting on the covered porch looking out over the trees and pasture made me feel like I was 1000 miles from anywhere. The hobby farm next door was really cool. There were all kinds of animals on the property, many roaming free. I even saw a skulk of foxes as I pulled into the property. A quick 8 minute drive and you were in Carbondale. Very cool.」

House had every amenity needed, including a boat dock and electricity. On a whim decided to bring a boat along, and make a short vacation out of the trip. Looking forward to another trip down! 「I cannot say enough how wonderful our stay was at Oak Manor. We stayed here for our daughter’s law school graduation and we had 15 family and friends join us. The house was exceptional. 「Our second time staying at this home for an annual fishing trip. This is an amazing home with the best view of the lake. The home accomdated 9 of us with no problem, indoors and out. Close to everything we needed. Within walking distance of the Cross eyed Bear which has excellent food, service and staff!
