Liked: Staff & service, amenities
I had an issue with the AC as I arrived. Staff at reception were accommodating and I was moved to a lower floor unit that the AC worked better. Still it wasn't as cooler as I like to sleep. Staff at buffet very accommodating and helpful. I wish AC was cooler.
Great location with easy access from the main road — no need to navigate narrow streets to get there by car.
Parking was 20 euros a night. Too much for a tight garage like that.
The room was nice and clean, exactly what you'd expect. Breakfast was good, though nothing extraordinary — but it was open until 11:30 on weekends, which is a nice touch when you want to sleep in without feeling rushed.
Staff were very polite and friendly throughout our stay.
The city center is just a few minutes' walk away. If I'm back in Zamora, I'd happily stay here again.
Top class, very good experience from arrival to departure. Friendly and welcoming reception, good size and quality of room, spacious and well equipped bathroom, very nice ambience and pleasant staff. Look forward to staying again in the future.
The hotel is in a convenient location, and our room was clean. The old town is walkable, and the surroundings are secure and peaceful. Checking in and out of the hotel was simple because the receptionists were kind and helpful. It's a good value for the money.

The staff were excellent very friendly and helpful.
The hotel itself is looking tired with the rooms now looking very dated, however they were clean and tidy.
Room was expensive much better to stay in Salamanca than Zamora if returning to the ferry in Santander.
Zamora Palacio del Duero is a large hotel situated near the river and convenient for the Old Town.
The hotel has its own underground car park which is small and pretty tight, and I had to do quite a lot of manoeuvring to get my Audi Q5 in and out. Main public car parks weren’t obvious and, on a Sunday afternoon, every street and small parking area in the vicinity of the hotel was full. No doubt on other days parking might be easier.
Check in was welcoming and our Premium room is spacious, very nicely furnished and comfortable. It also comes with a large and luxurious en-suite bathroom and a nice terrace. In short, it’s the sort of room that makes you wish you were here for more than one day.
Breakfast here is top class with an excellent buffet selection of fresh fruits, cold meats and cheeses, tapas and innovative dips and spreads. And although the buffet includes scrambled eggs and bacon, you can also order freshly cooked eggs, bacon and sausage.
Service throughout has also been excellent and this is a top class hotel in all respects.
Overall good place to stay. Room was really comfortable and large. We had lunch in the restuarant one day which was excellent. Location is reasonably good - it is around 8-10 min walk to the Plaza Mayor, and around 25 min walk to the main bus and train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Most didn't really speak much English but they tried hard to understand our very poor Spanish. Special thanks to Rosa in the restuarant who went through the lunch menu and tried to translate it all for us into English. Would recommend a stay here if you're heading to Zamora, which was also really nice.
