「My room overlooking the village's central area provided interesting views into local life. Breakfast was available at the hotel's modest restaurant across the street. Helpful staff showed me the ingredients so I could build my own breakfast since I could not complete their Chinese language menu. The bathroom had its own onsen tub, so I did not use the spa.」

「The location within the park is wonderful - allows early morning solitary hikes - before the tour buses arrive. Hiking again around noon or after is also better as the tour groups are more spread out throughout the park. The buffet was really good!」

「The hotel itself is a bit above the hills so it maybe a little difficult for older people to get to with heavy luggage. I may be mistaken but there weren’t any restaurants nearby but there is a convenience store nearby so if you want to have something nice for dinner I recommend getting something to eat first.
