Host was very responsive. Kudos for having a level 2 charger available on the outside of the house! Wifi worked great! The house was cold when we arrived but heated up nicely and stayed warm. The kitchen was well stocked. Only 3 of the burners worked but that was all we needed. Unfortunately, I did Not notice that there was no dishwasher on the listing, and that is a deal breaker for me personally because I don’t want to spend my vacation hand washing dishes, so just know that ahead of time. The bathroom is good and large, lots of towels. But the sink is set way too far back on the counter and was basically not usable for anyone 5’5 or under, and there are only 2 hooks total in the bathroom. I loved that there was a washer and dryer. Be aware they are outside though, so it was cold at night for us, and we found the dryer full of damp items. Hot tub was heated and clean but needed some steps or handrail to get up and down from the platform. The last part of the dirt road to the entrance had deep ruts so it needs to be slowly navigated. Otherwise location was good, close to 62 to get back and forth to Joshua Tree entrance and groceries, etc. There is a boarded up vacant property right next door to the unlocked side gate to the backyard and hot tub. So that was a little unsettling using the hot tub at night, but we didn’t have any problems while we were there. Bring USB adapters because there are limited USB ports.
