Located in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the historic city centre of York, the famous York Racecourse and the Railway station. With the famous Bishopthorpe Road High Street (rated as one of the top high streets in England) and trendy Micklegate area literally just around the corners of the property, access to an exciting variety of cafe's, restaurants, bars and other venues is easy. In addition, famous attractions such as the York Minster, Clifford's Tower, or the York Priory are situated within easy walking distance, across the river. Less than 200 yards from the property is the local green, which includes a well-equipped children's play area.

Perfect for access to the city , nice and clean …only problem, is the key safe that needs replacing we had to call welcome lets out to open it but that was easy enough

enjoyable stay in neat, well-equipped house

Quite enjoyed the neat house, we could make a private room for 4 people (using the living room also). Well equiped kitchen, we could only not figure out how to start the dish washer. The bathroom looks great and the shower is superb! Happy to have a house close to the center and from where via parcs I could reach the huge horse-racetrack and from there on to the river for a nice morning run.
