「Lovely relaxing overnight stay. Stayed in a ‘Splendid’ room. Comfortable bed and reasonably spacious. Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly.」

「We were welcomed by lovely staff giving an immediate good impression. Our room was small and a bit dark, but had everything we needed. Our dinner was amazing, beautifully presented and generous. Thanks to the weather we were able to sit in a beautiful garden looking onto the village green. Breakfast was brilliant. All the food is locally sourced and delicious. As to the cost, we were delighted at the value for money. Lovely pub with loads of character and lovely staff.」
