TV, DVD, CD player provided as well as lots of videos, books, games. Mobile phone connection for Telstra is 5 bars. No WiFi.
Fully air conditioned, this little cottage is fenced off to allow for a dog to run freely. Overlooking grassy paddock with cattle or ponies.
Queen sheets can be provided for additional $30. Internet only available as hotspot from Telstra mobiles. Enjoy your meals outside when weather permits as we are lucky enough not to have a problem with mosquitoes and flies most of the year making this a pleasurable activity with views to die for. Drawing Room Rocks is a close walk with view over the valley and up and down coast from Wollongong to Jervis Bay, great picnic spot.
Kangaroo Valley and Berry offer many variety shops and cafes for a relaxing day out but you would probably spend most of your time exploring this beautiful property with its rain forest gullies, spectacular views and many private corners to sit and meditate.
Plenty of outdoor activities around the area, bush walks to Drawing Room Rocks, beach hopping, swimming, surfing, canoeing on the Kangaroo River. Winter features on the south coast include wine festivals, musicales, and more.
We have really quiet cattle with calves, ponies to pat and more.
Your animals
We cater for small and large dogs - they are part of the family after all. The cottage is fenced off from the rest of the property so you can leave them for a few hours without worry.

Really enjoyed our stay, and felt welcomed as soon as we arrived to the warm and cosy cottage. It was only a short drive into Berry, and the location was very quiet and peaceful.
Looking forward to coming back!
Delightful stay in a very peaceful and well-equipped property..my dogs loved it, we loved it, and we feel very well-rested and refreshed. Thank you so much!
We really enjoyed our weekend away. The yard is so well fenced it lets you relax the minute you arrive. There’s plenty to explore on the farm and lots to do locally. Highly recommend.
The property, the location, the surrounding is just amazing and worth the money. Felt really good to be out there, away from our hectic daily life, in touch with the nature and peace. The host is lovely, helpful couple.
Definitely recommend.
We were very happy there, enjoying a much needed break. The place is as advertised clean and cosy and the location perfect. Our vehicle broke down while we were there and the owners Alison and Alister were extremely helpful offering assistance as required and transport to and from the repair garage in Berry.. Looking forward to our next visit, we expect later this year.
So relaxing- stunning bush/mountain vista, Loved the wandering belted Galloways especially the calves. Very friendly pony - all a lovely treat for us and pooch. Accommodation all you wanted. Alistair and Alison terrific hosts. Will come back, perfect place to really unwind.
I recently stayed at Fairmont Cottage in Woodhill, NSW, and it was an unforgettable experience. The cottage was charming and cozy, nestled among lush green pastures with friendly cows grazing nearby. One of my favorite moments was lying under the clear night sky, stargazing—it was truly magical. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. I felt right at home and can't wait to return. Highly recommend this gem!
While the weather was not the most favourable, Alison was an amazing host providing us with additional towels for our two little dogs to help clean them up.
We had an amazing time relaxing, watching the cows and pony wonder by in the morning and wondering into Berry for a quick trip.
The cottage was lovely, on a beautiful property. The views were spectacular. The cottage included many amenities, even a French press and coffee grinds (much to my delight). Do note that the owners house is fairly close to the cottage though.
Would recommend, will probably return sometime in the future.
Comfortable cottage set in beautiful surroundings, cattle as neighbours and gorgeous white pony with only the sounds of silence or nature. Great place to slow down, relax and forget about the rest of the world, and our dogs were also welcome.
Another wonderfully relaxing stay with nothing to do except listen to the birds. Berry and Kangaroo Valley are both close enough to pop in for coffee or a browse in the shops. Then lovely to return to the tranquility of the cottage.
Alison and Alistair were the perfect hosts and the cows were welcome visitors too!
